heres my newest purchase..... probably wont be getting to it for awhile but i just wanted to show you guys. she runs but needs help, one cylinder is most definitely weak. the motor side covers are on their way from ebay and i will be putting in new rings and pistons if need be. neat old bike that i couldnt pass up for $140!!!

Good luck, what are you looking to do with it once its spruced up? Any plans?
 
I am headed out to look at a 1970 DS6B tonight that will be on the back burner for awhile as well. I will be looking to see what you come up with.
 
Great buy! The tear-drop tank on the DS6 was a great styling improvement over the earlier model's lumpy looking object. It's original modest state of tune also gives room to extract a few more ponys.
Is it for the chop or is it going to be restored?

Mostly restored. Probably going to change the seat and fenders up and strip a few things but im not going to go cutting on it. I will actually take some new pics, got it cleaned up and fired it up :). Just ordered a new gel battery and factory service manual for it. Should hopefully see some more progress soon!
