We have a pipe bender from northern tool. It works alright for thicker wall tubing. My tubing is .09 wall and I'm a little worried it might krinkle. I'm going to try a test piece. I was told to fill the tube with sand to keep it from krinkling. I'll soon find out.

sand works ok. duct-tape (or better, weld) the ends shut to prevent the sand falling out.

I'm going to some short track races tommorow. I'm pretty pumped. That means next week I'll be back on this project.

Hi that 2 stroke engine will make a cool tracker can you hire tube benders in the states as a manuel draw bender will give you a far superior bend and if you use the degree wheel you stand a better chance of duplecating the bends for the other side of the cradle I look forward to seeing your progress with this build  :).
