Jim from Alchemy Upholstery in Pitt rode this down last night. After wings at the local dive we got it on the frame but I wanted to wait til this morning to get pics of it. And before anybody points it out, the headlight is just dangling, airbox and exhaust isn't mounted etc.

Yes sir. I will throw some bags on the GS, and we'll ride down next year.

Sounds like a plan gents. As long as I ca get it safe and legal, I would ride it. Best part about the seat/tank shape: I can lay down on it and my chin is on the gas cap!

Looks comfy! That back tire might be a little sketchy on pavement though...?

All part of the winter plan Swaps. The other GR has a steel 18" hoop in the rear, but I have a DID 18" I am going to lace up. Then take that steel one and lace it to this one's hub. Come spring time,  I'll have matching Kenda's front and rear as well.

Although I have only sat on the bike, it is pretty comfy. And yes, I may just take a nap on the bike if the situation arises!

I think I am going to run a dual sport tire on my "Resto to Running" project.Something geared more for the street, but will allow me to run the 30 to 50 miles of dirt roads I have to travel, when I take my cross country trip next year.

I'm all for it Scott. I kept forgetting this bike wasn't street legal and kept adding stuff to it like it was.......

Speaking of which, I have a rear tire on it's way. By the end of the week I should have a rear wheel laced, tire mounted, carbs mounted, etc. Just in time for winter!
