Yeah, I'm going to tuck it below the rear brake arm and lop it off around the foot pegs. I'm trying to find a decent exhaust tip, maybe just a piece of 2 inch stainless to be seen the last 6 inches because im going to cover the whole thing in that "greyish" header wrap.
Jake73:
Something that really bothers me about the bike is the tires. I bought them back when I wanted a strictly ergonomic tire. They just are not in my taste. Im planning on getting a pair of firestone deluxe's but want to figure out a way of getting rid of the 21" front. I would be really happy with a 19" wheel but I'm not sure what rime and spoke kit I could get because my hub is conical. the cb360 rim would be sweet; anyone have an idea how I could make it work?
motofiaccone:
I like the 21" wheel. Avon makes a Firestone-like tire in 21" size and it's a bit cheaper as well. Personally, I think a dual sport tire would look good on the bike.

I'm with Chris on the dual sport tire. Those firestone deluxes look great but from what I've read are "barely usable". I'm not familiar with the Avon he mentions but maybe look at Shinko 705's
Nice work on the bike overall the blue is great! Really looks vintage.
