The polishing has a long way to go. I just ran them across a buffing wheel to see how they would look. I have two sets of fork lowers so if I don't like the polished look I can always paint one set. And save the other for something else.

I'm wanting to do that kind of stuff with my 100.....but the seized engine has to be dealt with first.

You could always look for a running motor that is bigger and will fit

Yea.....that's the easy way out.....

I'm looking to try to rebuild this one.

Considering its the first I've ever tried, and it's a single....how hard can it be.

Got the head and cylinder off, finally.

Sorry I have a few updates just took on another job at a bike shop and a bike wrecker. I have been working on the seat a fair bit. I will be fabbing up rear sets for it soon as well. I know what I want to do and it will be a bit of work but worth it. I don't want to just slap on a set of rear sets that make it look like modern rear sets on an older bike.  I also added 2 bikes to the shop and am running a Supermoto Club at the track. So 3 part time jobs, Sumo club and a 6 month old I still have time. The boy goes to bed at 6:30 that gives me 4 hours ish in the shop a few nights a week and a weekend day I should be able to pull it off.........
