Opinions of this tank

I wanted a bigger tank, but this may be too much. What do you think?

That tank is waaay too big.  Send it to me immediately for disposal.

Just kidding, I think it looks great.  The height of the tank kind of shortens the bike and gives it a Manx look.  I'd use it.

Have to agree, looks really good. Also, seems to be around the same height as the top of your seat hump, good match.

I like it. I really do.

If it were my bike, I think I would have lifted the from of the tank a bit. For me, I'm not sure if I'd keep the forward slope. The flat top of the tank is more appealing to me.

I like the tank but it doesnt flow with the seat too well. the seat needs to go lower to maintain the bottom flat line, the front of the seat is to narrow to line up with the tank and doesnt come forward enough and the bump is  a little bit too high (which would be fixed if you could lower it to match the bottom line of the tank.)

worst ever photoshopping but it shows how minor changes would make the whole the flow better.

(its in paintshop so you can change the colors and squint at it.)

It's a CX 500 tank. I'm going to use it because I'm sick of looking at the bike trying to decide  ::) I like the lines, and was going for a Manx look, but it's just a little too wide. Everything is just sitting on the bike, so it will look better when I fit everything together.

So, I raised the front of the tank a little, and got it positioned better. The seat needs a little trimming and it will sit just about right to match the lower lines of the tank. It really is growing on me. Sorry about the dark pics, but the only chance I have to work on it is the middle of the night. Oh, I promise the fugly taillight is not staying ;)

Looks real nice. I would like to see a daylight pic though. The darkness makes it pretty hard to see the tank.

BTW - forgive my ignorance, but what kind of tank is it anyhow?  Definitely use it if you can make it mount.  Looks perfect.
