MX engine charging system for lights? If not how?
« on: Jun 01, 2011, 13:46:11 »
I know this has been discussed here before, could someone point me to the right
thread.

The question is, how can I convert a MX bike engine to run lights for the street?
I have never messed with an MX engine before.  I used to work on RR 2 strokes and
they didn't have any charging system.

Thanks

some will come with lighting coils, like yamaha WR's and KTM xc-w's. This is a popular problem among trail riders try to adapt MX bikes, trail tech is a popular choice, http://trailtech.net/stators_and_electrical_system_kits.html
