Its been forever since a new episode of the TV show...the one the other night was just highlights from the DVD with a quick interview of Billy Joel and Jason Lee....Last night I did my bi monthly trip to Barnes and Noble to enjoy a cup of over priced coffee with the woman and flip through a few magazines...generally, this is when I pick up the new issue of Cafe Racer. I discovered that the Oct/Nov issue was still on the shelf. Any of you guys with subscriptions have a Dec/Jan issue yet?

Are they on a break? Funding issues? Whats up??

Just suscribe to Motorcycle Classics from here in the US, or just about ANY of the British bike mags. Theyre 10,000 times better than Cafe Racer Magazine.

Plus one. Motorcycle classics is a great mag. They have customs alongside the beautiful restos. And cafe racer mag is super light on substance and actual info. Plus they show no support for Internet forums which is where this wave of cafe racers originated. They've also published a good bit of misinformation. I would say typos but when you're that far off it's just misinformation. I could go on all day. I'm sorry. I just meant to recommend Motorcycle Classics... Not go on another rant. And the Europeans mags are like pornos for gear heads. I hide mine between the mattress and the box spring so my wife doesn't get jealous

I appreciate the input guys. I work in the industry and write for an industry publication.  I get a bunch of mags monthly, but I was asking specifically about Cafe Racer. I recognize exactly what it is, but I want to support Mike and the local little guy....

This.

For real.

They were going to do an article on my bike, but I was having serious moral issues with having my work in that mag.  Emailed them and asked to cancel everything.  I do feel bad about wasting the freelance writer's time though...

back when I was a youff ALL the Classic magazines had a real downer on Cafe Racers and modified bikes in general. Why would you want to mess with such fine bikes ? harrumph, harrumph, harrumph.

In the past 15 years or so, they've all embraced Cafe Racers as if they invented the damn movement. Long memory me.

Anyone tried the ORIGINAL Cafe Racer magazine [ despite what Cafe Racer US says ]?

The French version. Yes it's in another language that everyone except the Canadian [some ] DTT'ers will have trouble translating - but it is interesting. Nice bikes anyway.
