Part 2.

Keep the rubber side down...mostly

God, grant me the serenity to accept the parts I cannot find; the courage to ride the bikes I build; and the wisdom to know when I've spent too much..

The end of the road for my bike as a Cafe Racer. I need to belly up to the table to get it ready for Bonneville in 2013.

Loving the vids! What do you use for your time lapse dolly shots? They look great.

I just spent my lunch hour watching all these vids and I only have 1 word.

Awesome

It was actually kind of painful to watch you tear it down, but I understand the desire that drives you. I will be watching out for the results.

Thanks much. I built a custom track and cart that travels at approx. 2 inches per minute. It's shot with a Canon 20D and a generic intervalometer I picked up from ebay. I've often wondered if I could hold a record for the slowest moving device on the Bonneville Salt flats. I'll post a picture of it later on.

Cheers

thank you. I laughed. I cried. I drank scotch. The need to get back to Bonneville is overwhelming. This rebuild should prove interesting.

Cheers pal

Here's a shot of the time lapse rig I built.
