Suzuki GS 750 Starter delete battery question
« on: Sep 16, 2011, 18:57:19 »
I was wondering if a battery like this would work after a starter delete?http://www.homesecuritystore.com/p-239-bd412-12-volt-4ah-alarm-battery.aspx

It's super cheap and I like that.

If not could someone point me towards a place to get really small batteries at a reasonable price? I am aware of the Antigravity battery packs but they are really expensive.

Thanks a lot!

Curious to see where this goes as well. I am currently debating if I can delete my battery, or if I should get a small battery.

I found this one, 2'' x 2'' x 3-1/4''.
0.5 lbs, but only 80 CCA.

Are you going to delete the starter and go with kick start only?

Starboard M,they do say:"Typical Applications: 50cc and under motorcycles, scooters, and ATVs."

Maybe they know something about their product.....
Im thinking it has more to do with the CCA under start up. I would imagine a 750 takes a bit more to turn over than a 50.

From what I have read, a GS does not need a battery to run, unlike other bikes.
