Iím always working on something. Itís just a shame for my thread that itís not been the bike.

I have a disease with rebuilding stuff. My CB400F is fortunately the only one thatís not finished.

I had no idea what a McIntosh C20 was so I looked it up.  $3~4,000.00 for an amp, no wonder I never heard of them  ;D

McIntosh made some great amps in the 60s/70s. We used one for testing sonar gear, and the band Exile powered their PA bins with one - it would hurt you if you made the mistake of standing in front of a speaker at the wrong time.

Crazy eh! I thought motorbikes were expensive but compared to audio gear itís chump change!

Needless to say I didnít pay anything significant for my amp (like my CB400F).

They continue to make amazing gear until this day but $4k wouldnít buy you much. Their MC2KW is $75k retail. And itís a mono block amp... SO YOU NEED 2 :O

2Kw amp with the right bass speakers would probably shake house like an earthquake?  8)   I thought $3~$4K was expensive for a 20~30 yr pld amp, $75k ....gulp, not even if I won the lottery.
