does the front suspension bottom out at all? if not... how?
 
i think i recall hearing that they're faux shocks in the back that are actually ridged.
 
Yeah. Back is hard tail but front will go up by 3 cm. Next week I'm gonna finish it or die trying. Can't wait anymore. If hard back won't work well enough (and it probably won't) I have building new one from scratch in plans. If I go for it you'll see the process :)
 
this bike means business...love it.

since the rear shocks are just there to confuse people, have you thought about mounting a pair of the rustiest ones you can find? it would really match your rustic look (seat and tank).
 
Did you put the battery under the rear seat cowl? It looks too small but I don't see it anywhere else
 
I'm going for "no battery"approach since I only have front and rear light and nothing else. If it doesn't work I have nice place for battery :) Will post pictures soon. Right now I'm racing with time to finish it till saturday. We have cool party going on here on 26th May and bike needs to ride till then. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to post good news that bike rides. Yesterday I worked on clutch, plates mount and few smaller things.

Oh and at the same time we're building cool Yamaha XS400 which will put some chaos here and there. Expect pics and vids soon.

Well bike is not finished and front suspension will not be so low so please hold on till it's finished (or don't if you can't). For your information I'm going to replace those fake rear shocks. For near future also modern disc brakes are coming into front wheel with modern brake callipers and realiable brake pump. Anything alse that is bothering you and doesn't let you sleep?
