My Chop / Rat
« on: Nov 30, 2011, 10:03:48 »
Thought I'd post this up to let everyone know what I was working on while I was "Away".  My 1974 CB750K Rat / Chop named the Cheap Bastard.

Hardtailed the original frame, PVC Oiltank, Springer Seat, Brass Knuckle Handlebars, Dyna S Ignition, Excel Suoer Coils, Paughco Alien Tank, and much More.

Yea, and they also got my name wrong in the mag.  Said Ian, Not Robert or Crash.  ?????

Mentioned that a build thread was on DTT, but it got left out.

That 750 is seriously sweet though. One day (bout four projects down the pipe right now) I want to build a similar 750 hard tail. Awesome bike Ian. :P

Overall, sweet looking. Are you going to attach a king/queen seat to make that sissy bar functional?

Kev, my sissy bar is functional.  It holds my tail light and License plate.  Besides, if I add a king queen, the wife will want to ride with me.  And, it is only made of 1/2 " galvenized tubing.  :)
