I'd think you could maybe do a clear powdercoat? I've been wanting to look into that myself- big fan of the raw steel look

You sure you wanna do those external springs?

Especially with all the work done on the polishing the lowers, I think the external springs kinda detract from "metal work" aesthetic.

I absolutely  love the external springs. The powder came out perfect on them and I think it provides a nice contrast for the front end.

Yah I'm seriously debating the clear powder, but I already purchased the paint and I've already tapped everything in my budget haha

Ran into an issue with my carbs! The float bowl gasket I received isn't even close to be the right fit so I had to order new ones today. Pretty disappointed but I assembled one without the gasket just to mock it up and take a quick pic with the stacks.

Unfortunately I am going to have to keep the stock exhaust for a while till I can afford something else. I mocked that up very quickly for the picture also, it is just resting on the box for the picture.

Rear sets are mocked up, but need to be torn down for thread locking and final installation after I get it adjusted the way I want them.

I think I'm going to turn my attention towards the fuel tank again though white I wait for the carb gasket and front wheel seal, get it all stripped and sanded down and get the seat and tank painted and upholstered.

Yah Kott seats are amazing and they look much better in person.

The tank is from a cb350
