nice build mate, love the single swing arm.. Wish I could find one that easily fit on a Volusia! :)

Got most of the gears fixed, and engine slowly back together as one. will have to wait for the rear seat to finalize all the electrical wiring as well. Hate waiting!!!
The alarm arrive yesterday as well. will update more next week..

the bike is not complete yet, the motor is back in and all the wiring are about 75%, the hard part is to get all the wiring fire up correctly. After that, it will be piece of cake to put everything back on. I was kind of sad that I didn't make it to the rocker vs mods, but looks like I will see about going to the Houston one in Nov for sure.
can't wait until the new seat arrive this week. Gonna go with a dark coffee pleather for the seat.
*** just put the prototype tank and seat on to see how it looks ***

Wow this is fantastic, are you gonna leave the tank/cowl polished?  That turned out really nice
I'm determined to enjoy this xj!

Thank you. At first I was gonna paint it all black again, but the more I see how it turns out, the more I'm leaning toward leaving it polish. And the most I might do is brush it, but still not sure. I have a feeling I will leave it completely polish.

haha LOL.. yea, before I was like a knight rider stealth mode with all black, now they should see me more visible than before. which is a good things, considering most of the Cagers don't notice us that much.. one time I had some crackhead made a left turn in front of me, and that's after staring at him waiting at the light for good 2 mins!! and he supposed to yield! and when he was turning, I could see in his eyes that he just realized that I was there in slow mode!! stupid people..

Got the new seat from Ian at houseonfireindustries.com or twinlinemotorcycles.com. The craftsmanship are just amazing!! It look so clean, and I was shock that it fit perfectly like a glove!!! and usually it's really hard to get the fitment exactly on the dot!! even the underpan are just dead on. Can't wait to get this upholster and get it all finish! and once I get the new final Tank in, it's gonna look sweet!!!
The under pan is gonna go under that key hole, once the mount point gets rebuild.
