Finally got all the shocks sorted out. Quick trip to the hardware store to build a spring compressor and the shocks are on the bike. Still need to weld up the rear hoop.

wondering if you know a good place to find similar shocks for a cb125 online and if they are fairly easy to install?

You can use shocks for a moped.  I got some Italian made Sebac shocks from here:
https://www.treatland.tv/category-s/65.htm?searching=Y&sort=5&cat=65&show=50&page=1&search=%20sebac

Just look for eye to eye shocks of the correct length.   I believe the cb125 bolts are 8mm, not 10mm.  But if you get 10mm eye shocks, it will have shims for 8mm.

I like the quality for the money.  Simple shocks for simple bikes.

I think im going to run a front fender. I have to re drill the holes so the fender doesnt rub on the tire. Im going to round of the front and loose the side braces. Toying with the idea of running white fenders on the bike. Ill do some mixing and matching when i get the fenders mounted and ready.

Battery box mounts are welded in place and box is bolted down. Rear hoop is tacked in place. Thats where its going to be. Now I need to work on mounting the fender.

Following... this sucker looks sweet so far! I like the black pipes and white shield. I don't think it's too much.

Im going to run these pegs. I think they will look bad ass white with the all black frame and motor.

I cant think of a name for this bike either. I usualy name them after the previous owner but i dont remeber the name of the guy who sold me the sl175 frame. SO anybody have a suggestion?

I moved the headlight back about an inch. Its hard to tell in this picture but it looks a lot better.

I have also been working on the electrical. Trying to figure out where im going to mount everything. Im going to run a small switch to a couple of relays for the headlight hi/low and then mount the switch in a neat spot.  ;)

Built my electrical panel today. Hides under the tank. One side has the regulator and 2 Relays for the hi/low switch and on the other side is the rectifier.

the tank hides it all pretty well.

I also made a mount for the speedometer. Not sure i like it. I may make one that would make it in the center of the bike instead of offset.

I bought similar handlebars for my cb125. Was your throttle originally through the bars? Are you planning on running the wiring, inside or out?

my new bars have no holes whatsoever. wondering if I am going to have to drill some.

There are no wires on these handle bars. All the electrical switches are hidden elsewhere on the bike. But when i do have switches on other bike I like to run them all internally. That is how you do it right. Running the wires outside looks sloppy. Its not hard to drill a few holes. I am lucky enough to have a Mill/drill so i can slot the bars so they look just like factory bars.

Well Im back at it. I had a promotional exam for work so all my attention and spare time went to that as well as my new XR600. But the bike is back on the lift. I took a torch to the exhaust and bent it away from the frame where it was hitting. I also took the heat shield and cut it up and re-welded it so it is only 3 holes long instead of 4. I think it look better. It was my first attempt at something like that so its not incredibly pretty but i think it is passable. Next is to make a rear mount for the exhaust. It doesnt need to hold much weight just keep the pipes from vibrating and so the head studs arent holding all the weight. Stay tuned, ill be bouncing back and forth between this and my 550 Cafe.
