ALSO... MORE PAINT MOCKUPS

Just can't seem to decide on one - especially when photoshop let's me have any  :D

Still liking the olive (more vintage, less modern), but the silver is really resonating with me as well - probably because it's the closest compromise to the bare metal look.

(my photoshop skills aren't enough to be able to replicate a glossy finish, so these look rather satin)

I like the last "taupe" or maybe the blue with a silver or brown frame?

what tool do you use in ps to paint them in?

Have you thought about just polishing the tail leaving it shinny and then paint the tank?

thank you. i'm into the "taupe" as well. although it makes for a much more monochromatic color scheme with the seat color.

in PS, all I do is desaturate my selected area, then go to IMAGE > ADJUSTMENTS > HUE/SATURATION, and click the box that says COLORIZE. hope that helps.

I'm going to try and do one that looks like the nimbus grey - it's just so damn cool.

I actually have. but when i mocked it up in photoshop, i really didn't like the look of it. it just felt too incomplete, like the seat was an afterthought. having the tank and seat match really helps unify the whole thing.

absolutely. it contrasts so nicely with the leather seat and the darkness of it looks really great with the black accents.

also, i'm not really feeling the front fender. thought it would be cool to balance out the modern front end by doing a retro-style fender, but it just looks off. looks so much better without one, but maybe a small fiberglass one would be cool? can't really use the stock one from a CBR600 because i'm running an 18" wheel instead of a 17". airtech-steamlining sells undrilled ones though, maybe I could make it work if I relocated the mounting holes?

Still 100% sold on the grey.

Also, I asked where you were from...I'm apparently to dumb to see your location's in the thread title :)
