Got my bucket from the crew in the attempt to no longer deal with the dim and expensive honda sealed beams. The bucket was an absolute even swap for my CL bucket. Bolted right on. Fit and finish are very nice and being that it's priced just slightly above what you'd pay for a stock sealed beam it's a no brainer of an upgrade. The only thing I did was swap the 50/65 watt bulb it came with for a 35/35 to be a little less taxing to my bikes dainty charging system. Still the brightest I've ever had on this bike. I highly recommend these. Thanks DCC.

BTW, I've got the same thing on my bike. I got the satin black one. Looks great.

I am using the higher powered bulb but I also did the 450 charging mod. I'll see how that holds up. It was killing my battery before I did it. That is why my bike would not start when we went on our long ride at the GTG last year.

I do have a solid state rectifier but I wasn't going to push it being that I'm kick start only and have a tiny 4aH battery. The 35 watt scooter bulb I bought is way brighter then the stock one ever was. A recommendation to DCC might be to offer that setup with the 35/35 for the smaller bikes. Still a great deal over all.

Was it the 6 1/4" or 7" bucket? I want to do the same upgrade, and I'd like to order the 6 1/4" bucket, but I'm not sure its an even swap.
