Guys ride safe and I wish I was able to be there.  At least the house has sold and we are meeting our agent to offer on the new place.  A few months of only one house should put us closer to the black and I hope to make mid ohio and barber if possible this year now.  Cheers and may the weather gods grant you dry roads!

Do we, or can we compile a list of people we believe are showing up this weekend? Is anyone coming any earlier than Friday day/evening? I took the next 4 days as... come and go as I please days, so I'll leave whenever to start meeting up with people or to have some beers. My brother and his bobber won't be around til Friday evening but will be around the rest of the weekend.

The Tempter got nowhere near completed for the GTG, so i'll be on a stock red 1982 Suzuki GSX750EZ. (aka Ferrari haha)
My brothers bobber rode fine for over 200 miles last weekend, and then the battery died 3 miles from home.. I mean drained it dead, no lights, etc. We don't have time to look at replacing what we believe is a faulty stator, so we'll be in tow with a spare bike battery in my bag. Either way, we weren't missing out on some of the riding this time. I'll have a voltmeter in the backpack as well as a few other things encase anyone else runs into issues. Can't wait to kick it with you guys.

Ian, I'm sad, and miss your face.

Someone needs to(pretty please?) bring me down a DTT patch or sticker that I can throw on my jacket for the weekend. If that's possible, I'll reimburse for it. I want to represent better this time. Guess I need to see about an East TN region patch.

... and take pics!! Remember, if there are no pics, it didn't happen.  :)

Actually, it might be prudent to put the camera away for some portions of the weekend. You know, the old, "What happens in Vegas... "  :o :D

Wish I was going to be there!  8)

Yup - pics and videos or it didn't happen folks.  Enjoy and above all else, RIDE SAFE on the Dragon.  There are some nutbars on that road, mostly in cars and big-rigs who will happily send you into a rock wall or into a ravine.

Looking forward to meeting those of you I didnt see last year. Prayers to those who can't make it due to medical complications. Fix if you find that patch i'd really appreciate it. Looks like i'll be going to mid ohio or barbers this year to catch the rest of the crew.
Will.

If anyone would like to go, and the rain stays off, only 10 minutes give or take a couple from the campsite is the biggest weekly hotrod/carshow. Happens every friday at the sunshine drive in(food joint) and is pretty cool to check out. Starts around 5, kicks off about 7 and calms down about 8/9 or so. Located right on 411. Also Panchos is maybe a mile from 129 junction(mexican food joint) and blount county is Not a dry county in case anyone wants to grab a bite. Blah blah blah if I think of more i'll spam some more haha. Cya guys soon.

That sounds cool.  We will have to play it by ear when we get there.  I expect to get there between 6 and 7.

Well, of course it's raining here in northwest Georgia. I hope it moves on out before we get ready to leave, otherwise we'll just have to be wet. My brother waited till this morning to want to change the brake pads on his bike. Found that one of the rear pads was beyond metal-to-metal, it was piston-to-rotor. I think I've gotten it safe to ride now though.

Seems like a great way to start a trip.
