New Project GS550 Cafe

I just picked this 1978 GS550e up from a buddy that didn't want it anymore because he would rather have a modern sport bike. So I did just that for a small sum of $300 bucks. Did I mention it runs? It is all original except for the newer paint job which is orange peeling and the sticker stripe graphic. It has 5788mi on it and almost brand new tires along with new points, plug wires, and plugs, a new round headlight and aftermarket blinkers for front and back. Also some other goodies came in a large box of extras...Here's my starting point I did cut the frame tho after getting it for fitment of new cafe style seat ill be putting on........
