Here's a pic of my bike in the shootout last Saturday. I didn't win  >:(  Who knew cafe racers had turbos and 20 inch wheels?

That Sucks.

Shows like that are more about the "Bling Factor" (and who you are/know) than the build style and/or quality of the vehicle.

It does make me feel better that people with the same taste as me like it.

Good!  I just recently finished up my electrical, but have no idea how you hide the wires from the points/ignition plate and reg/rec.  They are running up the tubes but still kinda show.  Your's looks really clean man.

Dude, all you do is win!  I recall a March and September BOTM win.  :)  Give someone else a chance.  :)

Yes, you make some very clean bikes.

I really dig your bike. I have a question though, it looks like your rear tire doesn't have much clearance. Do you have any rubbing issues? I only ask because as I continue my build, it's a concern I have.

Sorry, but not much of a thread about a shoot-out when it's only got pics of one bike. I don't think I would have wanted one of those Rat Fink trophies anyway. They've really sullied the name, when a few of that guy's cars were actually pretty cool, they've taken a few of the tackier ones and made them iconic of the name, when what he had intended was to bring an "anything goes" ethos to the scene.

So what's your bike? CB450? Or one of the 500T versions? What year?

i'm 5'3" and 120 lbs so it wasn't much of an issue. but if youre concerned run a set of cb750 shocks. they're 1 1/2 in longer.
