Ive been to montreal for the last two races.
was thinking about going to this but i think ill just wait till 2013 and the NYC race.

I can't wait for it... I was scoping out the garages from across the river a few days ago...

I couldnt get to montreal this year....sucks as the season has been great

Im happy that the USGP tickets came in so cheap.

General admission (sitting on the grass, but actually most likely dirt in November North Texas) ticket was $182 after ticketmaster fees. Grandstands started at $275 and exceeded $520 for the best seats.

These prices are pretty close to the Canadian GP.  It’s the unadvertised fees that are the killer.  It was about $500 per ticket after fees and taxes for “silver” level grandstand tickets to Canada.  Probably $100 of that was the tax and fees.

Well, the race sold out. I'm glad I bought my ticket during the pre-sale. Looks like they're going to add more seating in turns 9 and 11 to accept the high demand for tickets. I'm debating where to sit and when to arrive for the best view with my general admission pass.

I saw the GP in Toronto 5 years ago... Unless the cars are racing infront of you, your watching the big TV.

Guess it depends if you want to see crashes, passes or the win.

Yeah when I went to Montreal I made sure that the DVR recored the race too...lol

To get on the fence we got there 45min before the track opened....and waited all day, through all the rain delays and the support races.....and everything.

But it was worth it in the end to watch vettle screw up 30 feet away!

I liked the GT class 10 times more than the actual race I paid to see.  CTS's, Vipers, Porches, etc... Way more variety.

Well it looks as if I will have to start planning a trip to Texas.

THey're running a vintage F1 race on Saturday. I don't know what other support series will run over the course of the weekend. They're being awful tight lipped about it. It looks like the Australian V8 Supercars are coming in 2013 as well as ALMS, Superbike, DTM and possibly a NASCAR series race. Looks like I'll be making a few treks out to Austin next year. It'd be a nice ride on a bike if I could avoid I10 and still make it in 3 days or less

JEALOUS!  I might make it there next year.  Looks like an awesome track!  What a great race it was too.

Man. I nearly fell off the chair three times today. That race was crazy!

Its guna be a long winter!  I just hope the 2013 season is just as exciting as this season!
