Greetings from Portland, Oregon
« on: Apr 08, 2008, 14:37:49 »
Just registered and thought I would say hi to everyone. I have a 1972 Honda CB450 K5 project that I am working on. Cannot decide to go semi cafe, or full cafe, but I think my main priority is to get it running well first and install my new Mikuni carbs, and then focus on suspension upgrades, then looks. It seems anytime I want to do a small project, it turns out bigger than I would have thought possible. What was Honda thinking when they decided to use aluminum screws for the engine!!!!!  ;D

If anyone else is in the Portland area, let me know.

Sounds like a good plan!

Get it running tops, then do some suspension work, add a seat... decide on a complete tear down once the riding season ends!

I sail on the Columbia. Our boat is currently in the boatyard getting repaired ($$$$$) and hope to have it back soon. I also race on another guys boat Thursday nights. That can get intense. The most fun you can have at 5MPH.  ;D

What do you ride?

I have a 1974 Honda CB360, but it is about 10% assembled.  Probably be May before she's up and running.  If I am lucky...
