The 600's was referring to the 600 lb dudes on mopeds. The track is practically littered with them.
thought i would share this beauty of a "cafe racer" in the local san diego craigslist search. i'm not sure if its a flattering thing for people to use the term "cafe racer" to increase value, or people are just assholes.. i'm thinking the latter.. anyway.. check out this "beauty" 1994 CBR F2 "Cafe Racer"http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/mcy/3052918249.html

Have you noticed DennisKirk are getting in on the Cafe thing, is that good or bad? I think bad.
Hahaha i wasn't aware that "it all started" in 2000....wtf are we doing, everyone sell your bikes and go for an 00' model
Not to mention his clubmans are completely 180* out. Hahaha!
There is a TON of potential here. Just about everything is there. Just needs tweaked, and some inspired thinking. Yes, Im being serious.
Exactly. Right now that bike is no worse off or worse looking than most of the piles of primarily 70s crap we all start with. A couple months worth of work, and some creative fabrication and that could easily be a really rad bike. Hell, Id LOVE to get my hands on an older wrecked sport bike to do a modern cafe (even though a stock CBR, R6, etc is basically everything a modern cafe should be minus the obligatory Anime sci-fi style they all have).
