rego regulations regarding battery
« on: Jun 18, 2012, 05:54:51 »
hey folks. got a quick q'n
started to figure out mounting tabs after i cleaned the frame today. need to know whether i need some juice under my sack.
does any one know if our states force us to run with battery or not?

i'm working on a 72, so compliance plates become void which is good. would like to know whether being road worthy covers the presence of a battery though.

i'm in nsw however information from any state will be great.

many thanks.

I don't think it matters as long as all the lights and horn work (??)

hillsy, that's what i believe and i'm pretty sure it will be all good. just want to be sure cause i don't want to be hassled later on when it comes to getting the paperwork!

d.w.i., thanks heaps for this document. might not find the answer this time but i'll be routing everything else there, first.
