« on: Jun 20, 2012, 07:20:34 »
Hey guys - just a quick refurb i did over the last few months. Got the bike for $200 - knowing it needed a bit of a tidyup.

Here is what i have put into the build so far:
Blast/Powdercoat $250
650L Shock - $200
Tank stickers - $40
tailight $30
Oil screws $30
Indicators $25
headlight $10
grips $20
seatcover $40
rustoleum paints (4) $60
Duplicolor white plastic paint (2) $30
oils $40
oil filters (6) $20
air filter $15
wiring harness $50
hand controls $50
fender bag $40
Iridium spark plug $15
carb jets +rebuild kit $50

So all up to get to this stage under $1200 which I am happy with, as these bikes are so easy and fun to work on. Now i need to give it a test run in the dirt :)

I've always wanted a street legal XR (XL, technically?) to beat the crap out of. NICE. I dig it man.
