So, I finally got the bugs worked out of this bike. After everything was done. I was getting to much oil blow by out the breather. I ended up taking the engine out again and installed new rings. Everything back in and buttoned up the bike runs great!

After going back and forth with the color of the headlight bucket. I settled on keeping it off white like the tank. While the engine was out and dissasembled I painted it black. I messed around with copper plating and did the headlight ring and brake linkage. To a professional it turned out like crap. To me, it turned out perfect. Looks aged.

Anyways, I am now riding the shit out of this bike daily and have moved on to a 74 Yam TX500 for my next fun ride.

My little girl already made claim to this bike (that's why she is standing in front of it). She wants to ride it when she is in high school. Her mother says it isn't going to happen. Guess I'll save that argument for another 10-11 years.  ;D

Thanks buddy. I felt like you there for a while having to pull the engine. I had to pull it twice to get the damn thing right.  >:( ;D

Dude it looks awesome.
I was skeptical of the brown seat, but that copper plated headlamp ring really ties it all together in my opinion!
