CB400F kick start lever
« on: Jul 09, 2012, 06:13:02 »
G'day guys,

Chasing a kick start lever for my CB400F if anyone has one, or knows where I can score one?

Can't find any on eBay.

Cheers,

OLDN64, I have an extra kickstarter. I will send you a photo tomorrow if you are still interested. You wouldn't happen to have an extra clutch arm like number 5 in this diagram would you?

Mate, no I don't unfortunately.

I don't have many spares as I've been building the bike from scratch.

I'd be very interested in the kick starter though.

I don't have one at the moment, nor do I have a starter motor, so I can't even turn my engine over.

Look forward to seeing a pic.

I would also need postage to Perth, Australia.

Cheers and beers.

Dan,

You can also fit a kicker from a CB350F - I'm not certain if they are exactly the same part number, but they certainly fit without a problem.  I have one on mine.

Just so you can spread you net a little wider.

Cheers.

And I am pretty sure that they're identical (350F/400F)...

Couldn't find someone with a spare 350F one, so I thought I'd ask for both.

Dan, It is yours FREE plus USD $16.95 for USPS Small Flat Rate International package if you will use it on your bike. It is fully functional and I tested it on my CB400f this morning. One small rust spot, a few scuffs, good crisp splines and very usable.  Cheers, Swan.
