Need engine work done. Any takers?
« on: Jul 26, 2012, 22:47:14 »
1982 Kawasaki GPZ 550.

Officially will not have a garage this winter so no engine rebuilds for me. The wife had to draw a line somewhere I suppose.
The GPZ is in good running order as of now, but with 22k on the clock it definitely needs a top end refresh.
Head gasket has a small leak, valves seem a bit wonky, etc. Usual wear and tear stuff. Anyhow, I'll be pulling the bike apart in a few months when the weather turns to shit. Piece by piece I can clean up, paint and reassemble the rest of the bike at work and in the living room. The motor needs a proper shop and the right tools though.
So, if anyone wants to make a couple bucks, and is ACTUALLY CAPABLE of the work hit me up. Thanks.

-Mike

13mm shim under bucket.
I think I still have genuine Kawasaki manual for it
simple enough motor, done a lot of them
I'm too far away to be any use in building though

I gave my girlfriend an orgasm the other night, but, she spat it back at me
