18" drum brake rear comstar?

Does anyone know if you can swap the hubs on comstar wheels?  I'm looking for an 18" rear reverse comstar w/drum brake which on seems to be available on the euro cb750 KZ. If I get a disc brake 18" rear can I swap hubs with my 16" drum brake wheel and end up with an 18" drum setup?

The hubs aren't interchangable, but the cx500 had an 18" drum for a while, as did some of the cm series hawks.

I think you are right witht the shaft only.

How about converting the shaft drive hub to chain drive?  I know the drive side is flipped on the shaft ones.  Other than trolling ebay.uk endlessly for a reverse comstar rear from a later cb750 KZ, anyone have any ideas?
