This is my first bike that i got from my buddy's dad for $100. replaced the front tire and did a tune up. Pretty handy with a wrench and come with a automotive back round and love classic J tin cars and euros. I hope to have fun with this bike and even though the frame is not cafe preferred i'd like to ee what will be the outcome.

Greetings from MN, looks pretty clean, sweet deal you got on it.

Nice clean bike at a great price.

Get it plated and insured and go ride it for what's left of the summer and that way you can really work out what you have to change and what you want to change.  Learn to ride it and have some fun. If you don't have a lot of riding experience I'd suggest an MSF course and get decent gear starting with a decent helmet and gloves. It's hard to work on bikes after you fall off at walking pace and rip all the skin off your fingers.

Projects/builds/cafe racers are all cool, but they absorb hours and dollars like there's no tomorrow. More fun to be had riding and use the long WI winter to do any upgrades/customizing.

thanks for the greetings. I've been riding since June with this bike and like it so far. Haven't been in any accidents yet and hope not too. Not because i am a good rider, since i only have a few months under my belt but a very caution one. I don't plan on doing anything to it till around fall time. Money and time is indeed a factor with just about any project. Been there and still doing that.

Thanks guys
