New in Iowa
« on: Apr 29, 2008, 21:42:44 »
Hello!

This is a great site and I've been lurking for a while and now finally getting around to posting since I'm starting on my first cafe project, a '78 kz650D1.

So far I've installed Clubman bars from Old Bike Barn and I'm working on a fiberglass boattail and rebuilding the carbs.  I've got a few pix to post so stay tuned!

I'm not sure how it worked but I got a pic up!  This is an in progress shot after I cut the frame short and ground off everything from under the seat.

The next shot is my fiberglass boattail, I know it's boxy but the battery and all the electrics are going under there and I'm using the factory tail light.

The bike in my profile pic is a '79 kz650B3 but I'm not sure if I'm going to cafe that one, I think she'd be pretty sweet just cleaned up stock.
