Any other stories, from those times when people tell you that different is cool?
My shift at the plant starts at 4:30 a.m. (sucks I know) I usually stop by the store to pick up an energy drink and a couple of doughnuts for a little breakfast. I pull into my usual parking spot and this guy pulls up in an older ford ranger, asks me if my bikes from the eighties. Then he lets me know he has a Yami 750 tripple, and he's using my bike as inspiration for his build. I hope he does a better job than I did! Anyway I thanked him for the compliment, and proceeded to point him in the direction of this forum. I just thought it was cool that I along with inspiration and help from this community, could inspire. It's a price point CB650. I'm sure this has happend to loads of you guys. Any other stories, from those times when people tell you that different is cool? Maybe a proper motorcycle does'nt have to have apehangars to be cool. Apehangars by the way, to me are the two wheeled equivilent of the Mullet. Just sayin.
Did you make that seat? Fits the bike well. It is cool when you are acknowledged for being different Well done.
Oh, so you thought it was someone being an ass, so you responded like an ass, which made me call you an ass... Than once you realized the fuck up in the situation, you proved that I was correct in my assumption that you were an ass. And the world goes round and round...
It is always nice when a random compliments your project. I was out the other night and some vintage car club showed up and one of the guys complimented my CB550.
Sounds like a good new candidate for DTT. Help him find a bike to do up!
