Starting on some assemblies:

Headlight/speedo bucket. Bezel and other chrome will be brass plated.

Horn cover cleaned up a bit, will be brass plated.

What's your experience with Brass plating ?

Do you think it would stand up to exhaust pipe use ?

I've had a few things brass plated in the past and it definitely requires sealing. I have no experience with brass plating and heat aplications and would also like to know.

Almost have the frames stripped down, will be cleaning up some of the welds and splatter from the factory. Frame will be painted when the fenders and car are painted. The fenders and sidecar require quite a bit of dent repair and body work. I also need to figure out anything else I will be mounting on the car and make holes or bracket now. Suggestions? So far I know that I will be mounting a fuel can and tool box.

Does it have reverse gear?
You can skim the heads all the way to 0.040" piston clearance and put a cam in that lifts the valves until they touch head pockets
Sidevalves are just so much fun to mess with  ;D ;) 8)
Isn't stock CR around 4.8:1?
