I'm somewhat flexible on the price, but no lowball offers. I don't really need to sell the tank...I just thought someone might be able to use it since I prolly never will.

For what it's worth... I found the original Tracy catalogue with that tank in it. Part number "T122 Hon", made for the SOHC Honda CB750. Send me your email and I'll forward you the PDF.

Parts S122 (seat) and F122 (fairing) are equally as badass. I'll try to find a proper pic.

Hell of a collector's item. You should offer to sell it to "Carpy", as he's always into that type of retro period-correct equipment. You should look around to see what other identical tanks have sold for in the past, too. Antiques road-show type of people could probably help you! Ha ha. Just stay away from the "pickers" and "flippers" who are out to rip you off.

It's listed in the original Tracy catalogue as fitting the cb750. The part number is still visible on the tank. Again, I found the original book. There's a pic of the tank on a cb750. And, look at the indents on the sides of the tunnel. Those are for the bracing next to the backbone.

Von, there was also a sticker on the bottom that said 350/450.  I had a cb750 when I had that tank and there is no way it would fit or it would have never been sold .
I suppose its possible it may have been marked wrong 40 years ago though- just didnt want anyone to pick that up thinking it would fit a 750 and get hosed.

It snugly fits the width of an RD frame -

Right on. That's weird... Didn't mean to seem so argumentative there.

Bump...also in the original Tracy catalog it says it fit Honda, Kawasaki, And triumph...I think it will work with plenty of bikes with just a little persuasion!

Somebody say tracy bodywork? I've got one of those...

originally off an xs650... long since been hacked (I know, I know, it's damn crazy to hack up a tracy body) to fit my 350 as just a decoy (not shown in pics).

Really is a thing of beauty.
