Looks like my new chain, throttle, and carb should be here over the weekend.  Need to pickup the exhaust from Mothgils over the weekend and get it painted and wrapped.  Should be ready for its first 'race' this Tuesday!

We will likely be creating a thread somewhere on here for our 'racing' shenanigans.  Sure to be some fun times for all.

We have setup tracks in the backyard of each of our houses, 'single track' time trials. Our neighbors love us.  We are looking for some open land someplace that we can create an actual track with straw bails where we can actually race.

I got a good "circuit" we can run around the sub division. It's asphalt to, so we're playing for keeps lol

We so did this when honda came out with the CRF50, I bought 2 from Sun Racing in Denver... we destroyed those things until they got stolen right off the farm, I had 3 tracks then one 8/10 mile MX track AMA spec an Arena Cross section with stadium hit and chain breaking whoops.... aaaand the  Fity Nationals track haha... Built in an old feed lot so if it was muddy it stunk like hell :o

Last week while I was ripping shit off the motor I thought I was clever by ripping the governor out of the carb. Being use to slide carbs this extra throttle plate was odd.  This left some holes which could cause turbulence so I filled them with JB weld. I hadn't read anywhere about people doing this but it made since to me.

Well, couple days later it dawned on me, that's not the 'governor' that's the throttle.  The governor just manipulates the throttle.  That carb was stripped and thrown into the garbage. Thankfully a new carb is only $17.  Got the new one jetted and installed. This time with the throttle plate :)

Found out the motor was to far left in the frame in the mounts created for the Briggs motor. The rear clutch would hit when it was fully expanded. Moved the motor back to the original mounting holes. This however has caused the need for a 5/8" spacer on the shaft. I currently have a piece of pvc while a spacer is being made.

Also got the new carb mounted with the intake and new throttle. Cable that came with it was a little small so it's oddly ran, but I'll make a new one at some point. Works well. Next to get the exhaust finished.

Finished the exhaust today. Port matched and cleaned up the inside of the tube. Got it painted and installed. Because I had to move the motor the exhaust doesn't sit as perfect, o well, it's still good.
