A step closer, I'm expecting a quote based on 50 units in the next 48 hours. The guys I'm dealing with have very limited English. so it's a bit like pulling teeth !! NOT Chinese or Taiwanese . These ar NOT mass produced, but hand crafted - just like they were for years here in the UK.

I've asked them to quote for 100 and 250, but because they are NOT mass produced, the savings will not be significant. They do look the biz though !

Order placed today ......... I won't know the unit price until they land and duty / VAT paid.

I'll advise price as soon as I have the info.

Only 50 on the first order as I want to make certain the deal goes through smoothly.

I'll deal with requests in the order they were received.

IF all goes to plan, then a larger order will be placed later.

Already upped the order to 75 as I now have pre- orders for 30 !

Looks like a second order may have to be placed before Christmas.

I'm making a list guys - all duly noted.

I'll leave it at 75 for now, just to make certain the order progresses without problems. That will also give me the skinny on what the oncosts are for Duty / VAT / Freight.

ONCE I've done business with this company they will turn orders around in 7 -10 days. Allow a further 7-10 days for shipping / customs etc.

BTW - enquired at an old supplier I used in the 70's and 80's - they want £4.95 [ $15 ? ] at 250 off ! No wonder the UK / Europe is not able to compete with the "emerging" Nations.

The initial order of 50 completed, just waiting for the "odd" 25 and then they should be on the way withing a couple of weeks - just in time for Christmas !! 

BTW - Monza caps also getting closer .............

That's it then. All 75 made [ by hand !  ] and paid for. The order should be leaving in the next 2 days.

I'm anticipating a week to get here and maybe 5 days for customs clearance etc.

35 are now pre-sold and there's interest from a couple of dealers.

Just had a call from customs today - the parcel has arrived and will be delivered tomorrow. The duty / tax will be calculated and I should have that Tuesday latest. Once I add all that together we'll have a price !

They sent me a single sample by letter - no customs implications. Absolutely superb !

They've also included some samples of other items in the parcel [?].

I have a note of everyone who has asked for pins to date. Let me know if there is any interest. I'll have final prices and including the cost to send to the US / Canada by Wednesday.

I'll have final prices for you all on Tuesday after I get the dreaded customs duty and VAT tax invoice.

Will come in under the original estimate anyway.

Some of you have said - "I'll take a few" ................................ Just to be certain, can you all pm me with your requirements please. I'll post up the costs and post - which should be the same  up to 2 of each or 4 pins.

EVEN if you have contacted me already. Looks like about 35 pins to date and 10 RAM patches have been pre-sold.

ANYONE who has already contacted me will get supplies before I offer them to the general public. Not many left anyway from the first batch, and several dealers have shown interest.
