Starting my KZ650 BRAT build FOLLOW ME IN MY JOURNEY!

Hello there I'm not new on here but kinda. This is my second bike build EVER! And i just bought it about a week ago for $200 I've done the cafe thing and that's cool but i want something a little cooler ha-ha. It's a 1978 kz650 follow me on my second build it should be fun!!!

There is a tube between the two shocks already. I have to figure out the wiring, that is my biggest challenge! And I totally hate wiring ha-ha

I'm working on another '78 KZ650 as well.  Just in the process of tearing it down to the frame and doing some engine work.

I've been pondering where to cut the subframe - whether to go really short as you have done or just in front of the stock cross brace.  I'm looking forward to your progress!

thanks man the frame was already cut like that when I bought it! less work for me haha
