Hey there,

I am in the process of rebuilding a CB450 71 model and was wondering what will be the right Antigravity battery for my needs if I am keeping the electric start. Also do I need to get new rectifier/regulator or does the existing one will work?

Any help is deeply appreciated :)

The 4 cell will work on the smaller bikes but we recommend the 8 Cell for any street bike really.  I would check the voltage at your battery now to make sure your regulator/rectifier is working properly.  As with all Lithium batteries you need to make sure your charging system never goes over 14v.

I had a 4 cell Antigravity battery in my 125cc with electric start. It was fantastic. Seriously light!! and fit well up in the tail cowl. I never once had a problem with starting and never had to trickle charge. Highly reccomended.

The Antigravity 4-cell...It is also the choice for  builders of cafe bikes and customs up to 550cc .

Looking to use this on a 81 GPz550 cafe build. LED everything.. Wondering if anyone knows how it will work?? Do I need a new charging system? Update the system? The battery company site says not for daily use at all.. I am looking to use these cafe build as a commuting bike to work less than 10mins to the office.. Thoughts?? Need something SMALL.
