1974 CB 550 front end swap
« on: May 29, 2013, 23:01:25 »
I've been told the front end from a CBR 600 from 97-2001 fits the 74 cb 550 ,although im having trouble finding any kind of proof of this or verification, if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Also i was wondering if the swing arms could be swapped out also, thanks guys.

I don't know if its a direct swap, but allballs will tell you what size bearings you need for different stems. Then its just a matter of stem length.

The CBR600 swing arm is a mono shock, can it be swapped? I suppose so but it will take extensive modification to do so.
