CB175 rolls in every gear.

Went to ride my brothers 175 today and when i go to kick it over there is absolutley no resistance/compression. So i try to push start it and when i put it into gear i get nothing and the bike just keeps rolling in every gear. It ran perfect last time i had it out. What could this be?

Could be stuck clutch, or bad rings.

Just because it did work doesn't mean much...my grandma was alive....right before she died.

I would try manually turning the crank from the points cover or something. If you get resistance, rings good, clutch not. Also, maybe brotherman overtightened his clutch so nobody could steal it? Its what i do since everything is on toggles now.

Sounds like clutch is adjusted too tight.

i'm pretty sure you guys are right. I forgot we had shortened the clutch cable last week.
