OK, so I lied, it wasn't finished. The bike struggled to idle without the choke so I've installed larger pilot and main jets. One size up on the pilot, two sizes up on the main. I've also sealed the intake gasket with Locktite 5910 gasket sealant (think I had a small leak). I also realised that the pod I had fitted was possibly blocking the carb intake to the diaphragm so I've installed a 100mm x 54mm OD stainless steel tube inside a 100mm x 54mm ID rubber tube with a new larger oval pod on the end.  Oh, and I also dropped the circlip on the needle jet one notch.

She is now purring like a kitten.  :)

I'm also fitting a frame loop on the back end, then she will be truly finished.

Right, that's it, fitted the loop to the back end and the bike is finished, will be getting it taxed and tested this week.

I will take some decent pics with a real camera when she's legally on the road.

Very nice build, love the colour. If my project turns out half as slick I will be a very happy bunny.

Steve- very nice work sir. It looks like it could have been a brand new Yamaha on the cover of a brochure ( in an alternate universe ? )

I really like how clean it looks ! :D
