Deus Ex Machina / The American (HEAD LIGHT)
« on: Jul 03, 2013, 03:43:16 »
I've been struggling mightily to try to figure out who manufactures the headlight on Deus' The American 1200, and where I can pick one up. I love how tight and clean the shallow depth of the bucket makes the front end look.

Does anyone have any ideas? I suppose it could be a one-off piece, but I doubt it. Any help would be much appreciated.

Check the HELLA 5750941 500FF Series 12-Volt/55-Watt Halogen Driving Lamp. These should work but you do not have a high beam.

Thanks! I had a feeling it might be a HELLA light... this looks like it could really work. I just wish I could see shots of the back/side so I can accurately gauge the depth of the bucket. Hmm... I'll have to look around.

Would be a great light for someone who's trying to make a custom "flat" fairing with the light embedded inside...

My thoughts exactly... that was actually my original intention when seeking out this headlight. I just received them today.... they look beautiful. It's cool because they're completely blacked out until you light em up. Now all I have to do is figure out how to wire them up... the instructions are remarkably terrible, and they're also for installation on a car.
