Oh ya.

That knob is a steering tensioner. The other damper was added by the factory because the knob adjustment didn't 'do it' very well.

The H2 was known for it's evil handling! 'Tank slappers' are a routine experience if you push it a little in the corners!
Wheelies are common as well as the power comes on fairly suddenly. In later years, Kawasaki lengthened the swing arm to try to lessen the tendency to loft the front wheel in the lower gears.
Kawasaki 'got it right' back in the 70's as far as the motor was concerned! The frames and suspension were, sadly, way behind! They weren't the only factory with that problem though. As horsepower grew, the handling suffered on nearly all machines! It really wasn't until the 80's that factory frames and suspension caught up with horsepower.
