When you are Dead, you don't know that you are Dead. It is difficult only for Others.

There's this too...

If you truly love "music", and not just "songs", you should check out more of the Playin for Change vids.
This hits home for me as my Dad, when he "retired", became a street musician (and Played for Change) for a while.
Not because he needed to, but because he wanted to. He simply loved playing music.
"Playin For Change" records musicians all over the world, singing/playing the same song, in their own/cultural styles.

Awesome stuff ;)

Damn I'm old. I have an FM clock radio with BIG LED numerals in the corner of the garage so I can see what time it is. I keep it on the local oldies station that plays nothing newer than early 70's. My MP3 player on the GL1800 has a very wide variety of music from classical, show tunes, comedy, country, all flavors of rock, Christian contemporary, funk. Sometimes a song will come on at just the right (or wrong) time, like when Sultans of Swing comes on when I hit a twisty section. It just moves me.

Trombone Shorty recently did this with Dave Grohl...

Man I really hope they do a studio version of this.

And speaking of Trombone Shorty, here's another Playin for Change vid...
