Seat loop for honda
« on: Nov 30, 2014, 22:18:58 »
Looking at getting a DCC loop but I don't know what size to get 1" or 7/8". I have a 72 Honda 750. Any help would be great

Measure the diameter of your current subframe and that'll tell you what to get.

Yeah, you are going to have to measure what you have.
How are you installing this if the size is a stumbling block?

Also measure the Center to Center of the frame. You will need this as well as the OD of the frame tubing.

Also buy them from someone else.
Plenty of places selling the same hoops for much less.
DCC is lame.

While I am not at all a fan of this mod at least try and do it right.
measure the freaking tire clearance!
So many of these bikes with the loop barely run, and most don't get ridden so it never comes up.....but if the shocks are fully compressed the tire will hit the loop......

Thanks for the help. The size wasn't a problem just didn't understand why the sold two different ones. Also I will have to look into the clearance issue. Im running a rcc seat and have 3" of clearance from the bottom of seat to tire but will lose an inch with the frame might have to alter it a bit
