The concept of 'original' gets a bit slippery here!

They're both Konigs and one has some parts from Kim's crashed bike.  Does the macabre touch of "Remains of the yellow color of Newcombe's racing suit can still be found on the seat's surface" make it more valuable?

I guess the auctioneers think so.

teazer & stroker crazy, the Konig-Kim Newcombe  video and links are amazing. Many years ago I worked in a small outboard racing shop. Many Konig's were wrenched. I certainly new of the race bikes, but new nothing of Kim! Amazing fella, a helluva story, and great bike.

If you can get hold of the DVD Love,Speed and Loss it's well worth watching!

Or you can watch it on your computer: https://www.nzonscreen.com/title/love-speed-and-loss-2007
