I picked up a cool little tool bag. I had been looking at these on eBay for a while, I got this for $40 used.
It mounts under the seat, there is a bag that slides out with a keeper to prevent that from happening when riding.
It is made to hang under a bicycle saddle and made by a high end British saddle maker Brooks.
I was hoping that it was going to match my seat color a little closer then it did.

Cool tool bag but I agree, the color match is a clear no-go, you better send the bag to me

At the DGR today, thankfully we didn't need any of the tools. Did over 100 miles in over 90 degree temps.

Any tips for finding someone that can take some decent pics of my bikes? This Moto Guzzi and the XS400 that I just finished for my wife.
I contacted some people on craigslist and joined a local facebook group and asked there, but I have not had any luck. I was thinking of buying a used camera and doing it myself, but I cant see dropping $300+ on a camera for this. After I am done with the bike pics, what am I supposed to do with the camera, take pictures of my kids???
Seriously though, I would love to get some good pics of the bikes. I don't have any of the CB360 I built and sold. I would love to see my bike on Pipeburn or BikeEXIF one day. Not sure if they are high enough quality, but I would never know as my pictures are all off the camera on my phone.
Any idea how I could contact a local school for something like this? I am cheap and cant see hiring a pro. I could see paying someone $50 or $100 but I was hoping to find someone who would be interested in possibly getting their pictures online for their portfolio.

You could try contacting a local camera club or you could rent a camera but then you would have to learn how to use the camera.

A good student photographer is going to cost more than $50. It's a lot of work to get images done. There's no money in it for less than $100. They have to travel to you, set up and shoot. You can get a better deal delivering work to their studio, but I don't know how you'll do that with the 2 bikes.
I'm an artist, so i hire out for images of my work for sale and online. It's worth the money to get it done right. Typically, they don't just take pictures then hand you the images. When it's done right, they go in and work on the images and get everything looking perfect. Any cropping, color fixes, lighting fixes, etc is done after images are shot, then you get the final pics on disc to keep.

What should I expect to pay?
What would studio vs meeting at a location like an old warehouse?
I didn’t think about post shoot, I really am clueless with this.
I did look at rental cameras, but the cost for a low end camera and lenses was looking to be 1/2 the cost of a used camera on Craigslist.
I did look for a local club on Facebook.

In my camera club we get occasional requests for photography, maybe give it a bit of time for a response.
The post processing can take a lot of time and most people don't realise this. A photographer might take hundreds of pictures of your bikes and then spend hours sorting through to get the ones he likes and then process them which can be done in batches but sometimes individual photos will be edited in Photoshop, Lightroom, etc. It's tough for a photographer to make a decent living even though it is expensive to hire them.
