Interesting look with this Vetter headlight. No room for wires, but thatís not such a bad thing.

A look with the chrome ring, then covered in black vinyl to see what it could look like coated black.

For anyone not yet keen to the wonders of West System G/flex, hereís a little tidbit. The plastic bucket for this Vetter headlight came to me broken. So I repaired it with G/flex. Thereís also a huge slot at the top where the adjustment rod fits that I donít want anymore, so I taped the backside and filled it with G/flex tinted black with a urethane tint called So-Strong.

That's cool stuff. On Honda (who uses ABS almost exclusively) plastic, I use ABS plumbing cement. Add a little woven fiberglass cloth if I feel it needs it. Great for gluing the pegs that so easily break off the side panels.

The reason you have to fix your ABS pegs in the first place, is because ABS is not UV resistant.  The G/flex is UV resistant.  It maintains a level of flex that prevents it from snapping.

Takes 6 -7 hours to harden and 24 hours to fully cure.

I cut down the ears and tightened up the headlight.

Love that giant headlight. Looks killer, and definitely keep the chrome.
I get not knowing, but I can't for the life of me understand not trying. It's only metal it can be fixed. Man up and risk a mistake in exchange for a lesson.
