Keep going.  The bends look great.
Thanks.

Nearly had the seat perfected today at lunch but ran out of time.

Also... clip-ons arrived just before lunchtime.

Working out a seat support and slicing off tiny slivers til the length is just right.

Lunchtime isn't quit long enough to make solid progress but it's close.

Looking good. I can't wait to see that rear tire all shined up

Well the rear wheel is cleaned up pretty good and appliance epoxy is on hand for to spray it.

Also picked up a couple aluminum scraps around the corner today to practice my brazing skills.

Lunchtimes are too short

Well after a nice weekend it got cold & chance of rain again today so no painting 😕

But got started with a pattern for a seat hump and got started cutting it out with snips and a metal shear before I ran out of lunchtime.

This is my first time trying to work with aluminum so I'll see how it goes.

Paper pattern?!?! We don't need no stinkin' paper patterns.

I'm going for it, I have extra aluminum here & lots more around the corner... plus the tolerance is pretty low for this practice cowl.

Or... maybe a pattern wouldn't be too difficult.

I made this 3D model & rough pattern in about 15 minutes. With a little more time I could probably have a workable pattern to cut out.

Cool, I love Blender. Although their native units are not conducive to producing real world prototypes.
